If ever you go down on Church Street in Marbleton, you will surely notice the new fence in front of the St-Paul's anglican cemetery.
This realisation is the result of people getting together and wishing to honour the memory of their dearly departed family members. Therefore, John Urbain Cryan, living in Nova Scotia, husband of the late Carol Elyzabeth Weston and Raymond Audit living in Marbleton decided to finance this project.
The work was done by Mr. Audit, who graciously gave his time, his expertise and his equipment and was helped by his son, Marc and their friends Patrick Breton and Bill Thorneloe.
The stately wrought iron structure of the cemetery entrance and the posts were completely fabricated by the blacksmith at his workshop Le Chant du Coq of Dudswell.
The whole team was busy working on this project keeping in mind the anglican community culture of our region, a delight for all the residents who will appreciate the new decor.
This is a touching example of a nice initiative taken by a small group of persons wanting our environment to look better and keeping in respect our beautiful heritage.
